About the Event
an 8 week course, for people familiar with mindfulness practice
Going from one thing to the next, feeling frazzled, trying to keep overwhelm at bay, with a vague sense of not leading the life you really want to be living – does this seem familiar? Knowing that a regular mindfulness practice would help you to stay centred and calm, and feeling bad about yourself for not keeping to your intentions? Well, you are not alone…. It is very common that the momentum of practice peters out after a while. One thing many people find very supportive is to regularly practice with others.
‘Take a Moment’ offers you
- immersion in expertly and sensitively guided practice of meditation and mindful movement, hopefully leaving you feeling calm and refreshed
- a relaxed way to revitalise your practice with themes that give a focus to your week
- encouragement to imbue more aspects of your life with presence and self-compassion
- the opportunity to get to know other practitioners in break-out groups, to build a sense of being part of a supportive community
- experimentation with ways of practising that work for you, including making friends with the parts of you that resist regular practice
