About the Event
Yoga is both invigorating and relaxing and together with meditation helps us to slow down and see, hear, smell and touch the world with fresh appreciation. The emphasis in the yoga is on mindfulness and enjoyment and includes some Feldenkrais sequences.
Throughout the days, there will be led meditations of different kinds, gradually deepening a sense of loving self-connection and calm. There will also be opportunities to share how we are getting on in pairs or small groups. We will explore ways we can be with ourselves and others in kind and truly empathetic ways, helping each other to live through this crisis with dignity and courage.
Creating a sense of community will allow us to maintain the thread of stillness through the evening and the morning, taking into consideration our individual living situation. If there is interest, we can look at ways to maintain the sense of connection and support beyond the retreat.
The retreat is suitable for beginners and people who practice mindfulness already and are looking for an opportunity to deepen their experience.
